A course ‘challenging’ EU Cyber Security

Between 2 and 4 April 2019 the European Security and Defence College and the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN), France organised the third edition of the ‘Challenges of EU Cyber Security’ course. In first day, LG Patrick DESTREMAU, the Director of IHEDN, and Mr Dirk Dubois ,the Head of ESDC, officially opened the course, with their insightful and intriguing keynote presentations.

The participants interacted with key speakers and learnt about national and EU policies, main stakeholders and actors involved in cyber operations, diplomacy, cooperation and interoperability. The three-day course was full of up-to-the-minute information, with lots of questions and discussions on hot cyber topics. Finally, case studies brought to life the real cyber challenges faced by all Member States.
