Cyber Security Basics for Non-Technical Experts, HU/Institute for International Studies National Public Service University,02-04 February 2022
The University of Public Service (Ludovika, HU) under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) is organising the course “Cybersecurity basics for non-experts” from 02-04 February and due to COVID pandemic, the course has been organized in a full online format.
69 participats with civilian and military background from Member States and different EU bodies, joined in virtual, for this three days course.
This course aims to explain the current cybersecurity strategy and legislation from the European Union’s perspective.
Furthermore, it aims to enable participants to understand current cyberattacks, threats, vulnerabilities and risks on an understandable and simple technical way for non-technical persons.
This course will move beyond the classic cybersecurity awareness training and let the participants to use their own IT defence in a real environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to network, share views and perspectives with one another and with professionals in the field of cyber security.
This training course is open to non-technical end-users (civilians or military personnel) that need to use IT equipment on a daily basis and want to understand the cybersecurity basics from both the regulatory and technical perspectives.
