The first day of the course was dedicated to CSDP missions and strategic planning processes, including the EU Global Strategy, conflict prevention and conflict analysis. The second day of the course was dedicated to cross-cutting issues in CFSP and CSDP, while the third day’s main theme was CSDP military and civilian capabilities and financing CSDP. The fourth day was dedicated to cooperation with International Organisations, and NGOs and a strategic decision making exercise while the fifth and last day was dedicated to wrapping up the course. The course also focused on practical aspects based on concrete case studies and a scenario-based exercise. We would like to thank all the keynote speakers for their excellent contributions and the very high quality speeches and lectures they provided. The content of the presentations and the extremely relevant topics relating to crisis management that were addressed triggered very fruitful discussions between the participants and the experts.
