Training course ‘Integration of a gender perspective in CSDP’
From 24 to 26 September, the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) held a training course for military and civil personnel with the focus on the integration of a gender perspective in CSDP. The course was conducted under the aegis of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).
Personnel from EU missions in Rafah, Iraq, Georgia, the CAR, Kosovo and Sahel Niger, together with representatives from Member States and international organisations, participated in the course. They were training on practical tools on how to work with gender integration, such as gender analysis, and gained increased theoretical knowledge on gender structures, the EU Policy Framework and the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
